DISCUSS YOUR PLAYGROUND PROJECT

BUILT FOR DAILY PLAY

More than green flooring. A safer place to play.

We coordinate base preparation, shock-pad selection, turf specification and edging as one complete playground solution.

01

Safer Falls, Softer Play

Shock-pad backed turf systems cushion trips and falls, supporting safer play areas for younger students.

02

All-Weather, Mud-Free

Built-in drainage keeps the surface usable straight after rain, with no muddy patches or bare spots.

03

Low Maintenance

No mowing, watering or reseeding — regular brushing and rinsing is enough to keep the surface fresh.

FROM SURVEY TO SURFACE

A play surface planned around your site.

Every playground area has a different shape, shade level, drainage condition and age group using it. Our team reviews the site first, then specifies the correct base, shock-pad and turf pile for that area.

✓ Area shape, shade and drainage review

✓ Sub-base and shock-pad preparation

✓ Turf pile height, colour and infill selection

✓ Seaming, edging and safety-zone marking

OUR DELIVERY PROCESS

Clear steps. One coordinated team.

01

Site Survey

We review the play area's shape, drainage, shade and the age group who will use it.

02

Design & Specification

Turf pile height, colour, shock-pad and infill are selected to suit the play area.

03

Groundworks

Base preparation, compaction and shock-pad installation are carried out before the turf is laid.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT TURF

Turf systems for different play areas.

Turf choice depends on the age group, expected traffic and fall-height requirements. We match the system to the play area.

01

Short-Pile Play Turf

A dense, low-pile turf suited to high-traffic play areas and general walk-through zones.

02

Cushioned Shock-Pad Turf

Turf with an integrated shock pad for under climbing frames and other fall-critical zones.

03

Decorative Landscape Turf

A longer-pile, lush-look turf for courtyards, entrances and gathering lawns.

WHAT WE PLAN BEFORE INSTALLING

The base beneath the turf matters most.

A safe, long-lasting playground turf begins with the right base and drainage. We review sub-grade condition, fall-height needs and turf specification before installation begins.

PLANNING GUIDANCE

Questions schools usually ask.

Is artificial turf safe for young children to fall on?

Yes, when a suitable shock pad is included. The pad is selected to match the required critical fall height for the play equipment nearby.

Does artificial turf get too hot to play on in summer?

t can get warmer than natural grass in direct sun. Lighter-coloured yarns, shaded layouts and periodic rinsing help keep the surface comfortable.

How is drainage handled under the turf?

A permeable base and backing allow water to pass through quickly, so the surface stays usable soon after rain.

How long does playground turf last?

With correct base preparation and regular brushing, playground turf typically performs well for many years of daily school use.
